Bon dia, let us introduce ourselves

We are Arie van Essen and Astrid Becker, proud owners of Kas Balinja. It has always been our dream to start something abroad. In 2020, our plans became more concrete. We have been coming to the lovely Curaçao for years, and each time we arrived, it felt more like coming home. In 2021, we made the decision and started looking for a house in Curaçao during our vacation. We quickly found our dream house in Grote Berg, which is located in the middle of the island. It's close to Hato, beautiful beaches, and not too far from Willemstad. After our vacation in 2021, we put our house in the Netherlands up for sale and started the emigration process. In July 2022, we emigrated to Curaçao, and from August 2022, we were able to move into our house. We have not regretted our decision for a moment and enjoy the beautiful weather and relaxed way of life every day.
